Delete default XCCDF benchmarks

This question was asked before but never answered.  I'll ask again.  How do you delete the default XCCDF benchmarks from Retina?  If you delete the files or directories they are added back in when Retina is restarted.  Its really annoying to have outdated benchmarks constantly readded.  Not having a way to manage benchmarks is one strike against recommending this product.
